In the ever increasing demands of Health and Safety it is paramount to reduce the weights of manual handling equipment for operators. We were challenged with providing a lightweight unwinding solution for one of our customers running 12” cores. The target weight of the mandrel was to be below 15kg which was not an easy task for our design team but again, we were able to provide a perfect solution as pictured below and managed a total weight of 13.9kg!
